Covering all of the stuff each of them released it’d be an easy 5 but just for stuff as wu-tang clan it’s a 4

This is hard

+ greatest debut single of all time
+ one of the greatest debut albums of all time
+ unbelievable collection of talent
+ 1st run of solo albums, plus gravediggaz etc is astonishing

- although obv plenty of highs (most in the guise of ghosface albums), pretty steep drop off from 99ish onwards
- doez that make them the hip hop simpsons?
- often shambolic live

Still 5/5 though

36 Chambers, Wu Tang Forever, and the whole first round of solo albums, are unbelievably good.

As a group they’ve not released anything great since.

It’s a 4 from me.

Someone do a poll of solo albums pls

They’re from Staten Island, not Queens.

I’m going with a 4. 36 Chambers is one of the best records ever made and the follow up isn’t half bad either. I’ve not heard the last couple of albums and I’m not sure I’ll ever be bothered to. Cuban Linx, Supreme Clientele and Liquid Swords are all fucking great too. Hmm, might have to have a bit of a listen and revise to a 5.

One good record. 3/5

Really hope the documentary series gets a UK air date soon.

Not wu-tang clan albums

If we restrict it to official wu albums, i agree.

But I’m throwing in all the solo stuff as they mostly feature most of them anyway.

And im assuming we’re not gonna have solo hgatr ghost/gza etc threads
