i bought on the fever to tell tour, we saw them the night after i went to a foam party and lost my glasses. spent most of that gig pressed up against the back of this enormous guy, full on sensory deprivation sweat fest of a gig, it was amazing

Beyonce is a very significant figure that has about hit to miss ratio of around 25% with the 75% mostly being dull insipid ploddy ballads

I dunno just seemed like you had the idea saying something lots made it mean more.
Sure it’s opinion though, and it’s not surprising to learn the readers of an indie rock forum prefer the yyy’s to beyonce or whatever, which is fine. But laughable.

Deserved higher, but not massively unhappy with that score given the general aversion to the early 00s NYC scene.

Weird how there’s been a massive overcorrection on that scene in the 10s after the initial hype. Looking forward to the day where it’s appreciated for what it was

Finally got around to watching it last night. Very slight as it’s just shy of half an hour, but very cool to see them in full-on Fever to Tell mode - bit before my time, wish I could’ve seen them on that go-around.
