Takes me ages to learn a face. Like I will think two people look identical for a few months until I realise they are quite distinct. Feel bad the other week I asked someone which floor to press in the lift, she looked confused and eventually I twigged she sits opposite me. Also I’ve given this anecdote before but when I started at this job I was on induction with some guy called Ed, whenever I saw him round the office I thought ‘that is Ed from induction’, then there was another Ed on my team, after several months I realised they were the same person, so I find it difficult to recognise faces in different contexts

I think I get around poor face recognition by relying on things like hairstyle and height and gait and stuff, but also, as you say, context.

If someone’s had a haircut and is in a place I don’t normally recognise them then they’re probably getting blanked.

Pretty good at recognising peoples boat race ( thats right I am cockney what of it?)

Same, faces are pretty much useless for me recognising most people.
