Last time I asked discobot this, it’s view on the Big Four was:

took me 10 listens to “get”…Soon was my entry point
20 listens to actively like
On listen 30 it had become my favourite LP and stuck there ever since. Now Blown A wish is my favourite.
Although I was into some shoegaze bands first time around…I was a tad too young for this at the time (12) and was in my 20s when I properly listened to it and the penny dropped.
I think there are approx 25 LPs I’d give a 10 to if I was reviewing for a publication but in some senses this is the only real 10 for me…or 9.9 in PF terms.

That said conversely this is actually an LP that i genuinely understand people not liking and thinking it sounds a bit of a mess first time round. Rewards patience and a genuine affection for this kind of beautiful noise.

I was a Google Play Music regular for about 7 or 8 years, and a big fan, but migrated to Deezer this year so as not to feed the google behemoth any longer and I like the Deezer Hi-fi audio quality.
Anyway round about way of saying that I think it is quite often on and then off again on Google Play music but at least one can upload the library.
Deezer frustratingly had it but no longer and have issues with the uploading music facility… Wouldn’t surprise me if it comes on stream again though soon. Wonder why the endless back and forth with being able to stream it though.
