1. That match with Hogan was funny, like the Unstoppable Prick vs the Immovable Dickhead. Everything else about him I do not enjoy. Not helped by first watching wrestling after he’d fucked off for the first time, he just seemed like a weird interloper when he came back. I’m not a fan of the style of ‘epic’ matches he had towards the end of his run. Not that fun to play as in WWE games.

did you leave out Royal Rumble 95? First wrestler into the ring and wins it

Oh bollix good shout I’d forgotten about that (because it’s otherwise quite a forgettable Rumble)

Really vivid memories of watching the barbershop window incident as a young kid and not really understanding why somebody would do that to a good friend.

That flipping over the turnbuckle thing he stole off Flair and turned up to 10,000 never doesn’t bring joy to my heart too. Especially the proper 90s one where he’d just clear the entire thing and end up outside.

how DARE he be in the way of a man flinging himself in a 90 degree cartwheeling motion, so inconsiderate

The first ladder match vs razor was probably my favourite match as a kid.
The HIAC match vs Taker was amazing too

Always remember this go-home segment before summerslam 02 (before hbk v hhh and rock v brock) and thinking it was dynamite even then. So worth a watch. Still one of the most over face receptions I can remember, and JR on top form ‘4 YEARS MY ASS’

the way Brock sells the kick

seriously if there’s anyone out there who hasn’t seen the original Hell in a Cell, it’s an absolute must. The match itself is so brilliant and set such a high bar for the gimmick, but also has one of the best finishes/introductions ever

Probably the best cell match ever? Think it definitely outclasses the Taker/Foley match in terms of storytelling if not spectacle. The way Shawn plays up his desperation to escape is gold.

Forgetting Bossman vs Taker there
