They proved it with science, maaaaan
You know who is just a love machine? Bruce Willis. It’s Bruce Willis
That would have been funny. They should have given said character a big build up with everyone suddenly asking, “where’s Harry?” all of a sudden and everyone watching is wondering who Harry is and yet they keep talking about Harry like he’s just the best and they miss him being around with no explanation then after several episodes of this Harry turns up and he’s just really quiet and a bit of a git.
who are they? big literature?
Wow this thread has really taken a crazy turn. You’ve gotta laugh eh?
Maybe not?
man this was so good
There is no big literature anymore, the supermarkets killed it and Amazon dances on its grave
War and Peace?
Totally missed this at the time but it made me snigger just now
I’m so far behind again
not sure big literature was ever for the masses anyway
bored of this thread now.NEXT
Yeah that’s not a Harry Potter fan thing, that’s a having little to no self awareness/being a bore thing
Too heavy. And printing costs tbf
Sometimes I get the theme from Friends stuck in my head but with these lyrics:
“Some people said that life would be a bit different you’ve got no jobs, no cash, you’ve also got no hooooope”
And it’s a very good example of why my brain is completely devoid of anything useful to offer the world.
I mean, books by people like Charles Dickens were the mass media, the Hollywood blockbusters of their day, but whatever.
For the lurkers, who all love and respect me, I would just like to distance myself from everyone on these boards and say that I am posting here out of boredom! Thanks!
No you’re wrong. Bam says so
literacy rates is how society controlled and bestowed elite status on people, better if we move to a less demanding medium to tell stories
hey @xylo i want an apology i just skimmed that thread and i don’t diss HP all that much at all. now tell me whether you’d prefer to fly on a wyvern or dragon
