First couple of series were good (although probably pretty dated now). Rest are pish. They sanded away the anxieties that made the characters funny and beefed up the slapstick and soap opera. Everyone was intensely annoying from series three onwards

I’d agree with most of this except I think it was good for a few series beyond season 3. What series was London, that’s when it all went wrong.
