I know it’s a minor thing but when they’re all putting cards down (‘Huit’,‘Ace in the hole’) and the Doc just makes a random noise (‘Taauun’) - does me every time.

I wanted to like these programs but I cudnt, I am afraid I am a fast show and Harry Enfield fan and LOG didn’t cut it

Just before they showed the new episodes at the tail end of 2017, me and Clive watched all the original episodes one after another. Clive was 5-8 years old when the original series were broadcast and he’d never seen them. He loved it. I didn’t love it as much as the first time around.

Me and the TV watched a few log on iplayer last year and they made for average background viewing while flicking through shite on phones. Not as bad as your garden variety bbc3 tripe but not as engaging as the netflix fireplace. For this I’ve awarded log 1/5

I enjoyed Psychoville as a 16 year old when my tastes were undoubtedly toss. I’ve no doubt it would make tortuous viewing now. In the absence of a 0/5 I’ve scored it 1/5

I thought my house mate at the time was going to have a heart attack after the ‘oran joos’ scene. He was full on laughing uncontrollably for maybe 15mins and his face turned puce.

Watching it for the first time as a kid and not getting it was a real education in realising that even if sometimes your friends are absolutely convinced by something, it can also be completely dogshit.

This is completely dog shit. Never heard of psychoville so didn’t vote.

Also this is just making me realise how much I hate old telly.

I watched both again recently and thought they were excellent still. Well less love for Psychoville but still better than most TV

I do this whenever I’m reading M a bedtime story that has “excuse me” in it

so there’s not gonna be a neighbours instalment? this is fucking BULLSHIT

If it gets cancelled soon then yes, and I’d imagine this is fairly likely.

I’m sure we had a neighbours thread at some point, I remember getting misty-eyed about Stingray

This place baffles me sometimes.

Mr Bean: yes, lovely stuff. Very enjoyable. League of Gentlemen: it’s absolute shit.

You’ve all gone to pickle.
