Was a very big fan of how many characters in this were awkwardly killed off because of fumbled contract negotiations (Mr Eko), off set drama (Ana Lucia) or sheer unpopularity (Nicki and Paulo).

Mr Eko was particularly a highlight as they were making him such a central part of the mythology and they clearly had to reset an entire storyline.

Funny to think that if it were made now it would be on FX or an equivalent, have somewhere between 10 - 13 episodes a season and just be overall much better. Reckons there’s scope for a reboot down the line.

Fucking love Lost. Its totally ridiculous but the narrative plate spinning it does for most of its run is incredible

I love the fact that by season 5, I’d see actors in it and think “oh it’s that guy, what else has he been in?” and the answer would be season 2 of Lost

Also introducing new characters just to bury them alive a few episodes later!
