In my imagination Rincewind was always more of a gangly bumbling character than a David Jason one.
My imagination has him as Eric Idle from the Discworld adventure games

Always thought Del Boy was a manipulative and selfish person, thinking specifically of him trying to convince Rodney to invest the money they got from the antique watch, something like “before mum died she always said invest it in…” etc. And of course they lost it all. Also in one of the earlier episodes Del Boy shames Rodney for doing drugs in the past and tries to break down his self-esteem in order to persuade him to do something purely for Del Boy’s benefit. I could never shake the feeling that Rodney should move out and start a life away from his brother once he retrained in IT.
OFaH works pretty well as a story of two brothers coming to terms with globalisation in a post-industrial society

On the David Icke forum? I don’t know, people always go on about how he was right about Jimmy Savile but apparently he never mentioned him
Agree with Del’s selfishness - there are loads of episodes where Del ruins Rodney’s chance of progression/love life
