Hot take: season 5 is actually fine
One of the few dramas that is worth re-watching. Watched it four times (first time was when season 5 was airing) and my perspective changes each time and I notice so many new things.
That whole scene with Snoop buying the nail gun is incredible.

Yeah actually, I didn’t mind 5 too much. I liked the arc with Bubbles and the younger reporter.

By far and away my favourite TV series of all time. Flawless. Even Aidan Gillen can’t spoil it.
Going to do a 4th rewatch soon with the TV who’s never seen it.
Think this is my favourite scene, one of them anyway.

Season 5 is fine. It’s all great though.
FYI The House I Live In, a documentary which David Simon had a hand in, is really fucking good.
Love that they got Isiah Whitlock Jr. to cameo in Black Klansman just long enough to go “Sheeeeeeeeeit”
