⚽️ How Good Was This Footballer Really ⚽️ #17 Fernando Torres

Pioneer of the Hispanic Lord of the Rings lads movement tho.

Gone for a seven. He was terrifyingly good at his peak in a way that only a very elite few players ever reached. Fell off a cliff more than any player I can remember though tbh. Just utterly finished overnight. Very odd.

One of the clearest examples of a player’s game falling to pieces when they started to think about what they wanted to do rather than just doing what they’d done in training every day.

Also, was a striker who was scared of taking penalties, so also suspect.

Current wasteman status: negative

7 I think. Just couldn’t cope with the pressure that price tag put on him I guess and became a ghost but during that good period he was absolutely deadly.

One of the great forgotten world cup goals of our time (mainly for puyol tbf but still)
