Genuinely sublimely talented. I hate to bring it up as it sounds so fucking PFM, but he really needed to work harder for his team.

Utter gobshite now too.

Scored some ridiculous goals to be fair to the cunt

I was at Ewood Park that day. Good thing he never turned into an alt-right weapon and will forever be remembered for that one sublime goal and absolutely nothing dodgy or embarrassing.

A very talented and fun player who made the most out of playing in a piss weak league. Would have spent his career in the championship a decade or so later. 6

(think that last one was the final goal ever scored at The Dell which is why it’s often included despite being less spectacular than some of the others)

C’mon. Nobody doing those numbers from midfield would be in the championship

Big fish in a small pond. Some great goals, but Southampton was about his level.

The Jimmy Floyd ranking has fucked this entire enterprise

I think it’s class that Jimmy Floyd ranked so high. Football is about emotion and not cold, dead-eyed logic. If more people liked Jimmy Floyd than Klinsmann or AnfieldLegend#19 then that’s good enough

Not sure if it’s been said before, but that Gerrard score is an absolute joke
