I certainly get on the bus less and my hair is now lustrous and long.

I’ve not minded some aspects of lockdown. I’ve indulged in my more antisocial tendencies by reading more and watching TV more and playing video games more.

Working from home is alright and has improved the amount of sleep i get although I miss the beautiful air conditioning of the office. Delightful recirculated air.

I do find myself wishing away the week like I never used to before. I didn’t used to feel the shame spiral until Sunday evening but that can now kick in when I wake up on Saturday morning.

I’m doing the exact same but wishing away the weekends instead

The biggest thing is lack of work stress. I felt so chilled out even before the summer holidays started.

Was doing more exercise and lost a bit of weight but I’m not sticking to that as much now, I need to get back to it but I find the home workouts very boring. Was keeping up with friends a lot more over Zoom but again that’s stopped recently. Initially I was teaching myself A-level physics and that felt good but work got a bit busier and I stopped doing it. There’s a pattern here.

I’ve played a lot more computer games. Been giving myself challenges, like I’ve got the 100% achievement on a couple of my favourite games. Not very productive but it’s given me something to aim for and distracted me from societal crumbling.

Sleep naked but I used to at least change out of my lounge shorts to leave the house, fuck that these days though.

House clothes was stated too. I don’t sleep in pyjamas either

I don’t wear pajamas in bed but I have lots of pajamas for lounging around in.

Used to go to breakfast in halls in my dressing gown (I wasn’t self catered). Absolute reprobate in retrospect.

What the fuck?

Eaten better, drunk worse, spent less, got happier.
