Yeah. Corby is the fasting growing town in the UK, has some of the friendliest people, has an interesting mix of cultures, has an interesting history, Armstrong & Buzz Aldrin had a chat about it on the way to the moon, we’ve nothing to do with the trouser press, I could go on.

Kettering is where Sean Dyche is from.

Ansty. 0-0.5 - I just remember visiting a bit when I was little. So have to just go off what Wikipedia says

“Ansty has been cited as “the most boater-hostile village on the canals” because of the huge number of “no mooring” signs and the fact that even the local Pub refused to contribute to bridge repairs, so that boaters now have a long walk it patronise it. Ansty Club proffers a “warm welcome” but it is hard to find a mooring anywhere near”

St Neot - 0.5 - 4

I only remember pain. stung by a bee in the face, vomiting into a blue bucket when I was watching Crocodile Dundee, getting my fingers trapped in a car window, salmonella from bad eggs. nice village though “In 2004 and 2006, the village of St Neot won the National Calor Village of the Year award. St Neot also won the Calor Gas Village of the Decade award, which celebrated 10 years of the competition”

Little Cornish Hamlet: 4-University. Nice. Thomas Hardy wrote a good & sexy poem about it.

Bath: Just 4 University: I like Bath. Nice bricks

London: One year after university: too much sprawl it makes me anxious. Wish all my friends hadn’t moved there.

Newcastle: I like Newcastle. One of the good cities I reckon.

Oslo (hometown)
Cairo (a few months while my dad was working there)
Cardiff (uni)
London (uni again)

Cairo wasn’t for me, although it might have been different if I had more of my own stuff to do there etc.

Ended up loving Cardiff, good place to come to as a new person not knowing anyone. Lots of personality etc.

Always loved London, have been visiting regularly for 15 years. Lived there for one year doing my MA, and enjoyed it a lot, but think maybe living there in the long run also isn’t for me.

Back in Oslo now (as I have been in between the other places too). Was miserable growing up in the suburbs here and thought it was because Oslo was a lame place but I was wrong. After moving back here from Cardiff I started really getting to know the place more and discovering new things and realised it’s actually quite good. Don’t see myself living anywhere else on a long term basis now.

for some reason the name Ansty really pisses me off. Doesn’t seem like a proper place name. Had to drive past it a lot to get to my ex’s and it wound me right up.
