I largely make good decisions except when I think it’ll be funny
Thread is inspired by the annual influx of rich, posh holidaymakers down here who are obviously good enough at whatever they do to earn good money but have absolutely no common sense or everyday skills at all.
No it’s a ‘How much common sense do you have?’ thread. Sorry if the title was unclear.

The older I am the more I realise I am completely average in every measurable way, so gone for a 5, assuming we’re taking the median and there will be as many 1s as 10s
Maybe with that attitude it is.
Below average common sense. Makes me a very paranoid person.
Fluctuating wildly between being the only person around who stops and thinks about how to do something properly, and just rushing in and doing foolish shit without any forethought. Averaging myself to a 5.

The thing about common sense is that it is neither common nor sensible. Oh actually I got that wrong it is sensible isn’t it. Never mind.

Tell you what though, I don’t proof read posts nor read the whole thread, that’s an extra +1 to my common sense that’s easily achievable but won’t ever happen
I once (whilst working on an agricultural property) tried to turn an outside tap off - for about 10 minutes - whilst turning it the wrong way. And had to ring for help. And the help turned up, turned it the correct way and laughed at me incessantly.
