hey i’ve not forgotten the handshake :slight_smile:

think its still a fiver at Peckhamplex, but I rarely go to the cinema. Lived really near Genesis in Bethnal Green a while back and only went once (500 days of summer).

good cuz it just went up to £9.50 full price!

have a very sweet cinema set up;

One less than a mile a away is £5.50 max; i.e. peak time, new film. Mondays is £3.50 all day, for every film, including new releases (paid that for Star Wars). think 3D might be a quid more across the board, but haven’t ever been. I also go a lot on Saturday mornings with my daughter to kids club - £2 a ticket. So we go, buy two tickets, and two ice creams and it comes in at £7.50, the lot. They have also started selling beer so I sometimes go, full price, and have a couple of beers, and it comes in around £12. Oh and it is lovely there AND on top of a Waitrose, so basically has the best cinema snack selection in the world!

OR, I can hop on a bus for ten mins and be at a new Everyman where it is £13 a ticket, but really amazing within - so will use that for special occasions. In principle.

In order of distance from my flat (all within 20 minutes):

Everyman - £13 (but literally 30 seconds away)
Watershed - £9, or £6.50 before 4pm.
Cube - £5, £3 on a Tuesday
Showcase - £10.20, possibly more at the weekend? I’m not sure, haven’t been since Sicario.

My nearest is about 2 mins walk away and costs about £4 concessions.

£5 for student discount at HOME. Pretty good.

Did you see this news, from today?

Bit of a shame - it was a lovely building inside.
