I think he’s a terrible human being but his recipes are often good and made with accessible ingredients and techniques.

Can’t comment on the authenticity of his paella or jollof though.

Urgh, did you see last week’s episode of Escape to the Wild where he outright suggested to a couple (who’d moved to Indonesia) that the massive snake they’d just seen was capable of eating the 1 year old son whole? Horrid man.

We didn’t bother with the Holmes Museum. The queue was huge and if was freezing. Went to the Wellcome Collection, it was interesting and killed 40 minutes. Had a hot chocolate in the cafe.

The Ghost Bus Touf was fun. We’re in the slow train home now.
