Oh, that was group B for me. Still haven’t decided. I have bought Slippery When Wet a scarcely believable three times so I suppose I should at least vote for Bon Jovi
Just to be clear, are we voting for who we think is the worst?
I’m trying to workshop a joke where the album Slippery When Wet is actually slippery when wet, and you bought your first two copies during rainy weather and dropped them both in puddles. Or something.
He seems like he’d be a total sweetheart or a moody fucker depending on the day
Who we think is the best.
@moderators, could you add a thing in the OP (and the voting post #135) saying that you’re meant to vote for the act you think is the best please?
Btw, there is a Menless Monday HGATR running alongside this:
Stereophonics scrape through that one just for Word Gets Around.
Definitely could have voted for some acts on the back of one or two massive tubes while hating most everything else they’ve done
Group D does nothing for me at all
Groups G & H only get one vote each as, well, gross.
And many have said it, but spectacular work @pervo - that opening run of posts is one of the best i have ever seen. Up there with that run of early sabbath albums. Ta bab. Take the day off!
outstanding work Pervo
I don’t care what you say anymore this MY LIFE
If Billy Joel doesn’t make it out of the groups I’m leaving the boards. For an hour
Two groups where I couldn’t cast a single vote, the whole thing is a good mix of ‘nah, not for me but good luck to them’ and utter cringing horror.
I need to do some work but I’ve got a few more ideas for threads. My wrists can’t handle this much exertion for long though
Wondering who Katy Perry’s potential Niall Quinn is.
Google tells me Jordin Sparks (?) is 6ft and on the nicher end of the spectrum Corey Parkes is 6ft 2 apparently.
Absolutely this for me too.
Could only bring myself to choose one artist in Group H, the real group of death
… many tunes not tubes though
Think Group A somehow manages to be simultaneously both the best and worst group.
I didnt even notice that, completely read it as tunes
