How often are people getting a takeaway delivered?

This is absolutely not about takeaway shaming as I’m not here for that.

But I have noticed some people (not on dis) seem to get them every other night and I’m like how the heck are you affording that! My order for one person just came to 30 quid!

I tend to wait until the systm sends me a 50% discount, which I think is 2 months?
This doesnt count for getting chips when Im drunk as that happens more often.

We were getting about 1 or 2 a month up until this year when we resolved to see how long we could go without one. Lasted from Jan 2nd - last Tuesday. Will try and keep it to once a month for money reasons.

Average of about one a week, I reckon.

Sometimes might have 2 (or even 3) in a week, sometimes go a few weeks without having one.

Got into quite bad habits over lockdown but theyre so expensive now that ill usually balk at the cost of getting one for myself. One a week i reckon, friday night fnc or a pizza after a miserable week cant be beat. Find if i pick up i feel less bad about only spending 15 quid but feel obliged to get loads more if delivered.

Probably once a month, pretty much always a Dishoom. Like you said it’s so pricy, I’d easily pay over £20 for a standard local Indian takeaway just for me, I could eat and drink like a king if I spent the same money in the supermarket.

Never get one delivered.

Probably get a take out maybe once every two months.
