I used to go out with someone who sleeptalked a lot and would sometimes be very active in his sleep, to the extent that people often don’t believe stories i tell about it or say he must have been pretending to be asleep. He sleep punched me a couple of times.

I don’t think I ever have. When I was young enough for it to be an issue (when I was a baby), I was sleeping in a cot anyway.

I slept on the top bunk as was my God-given right as the eldest and I fell out one night and did not wake up. Got found by parents sleeping on the floor in the morning.

Wish I slept that soundly now.

Used to all the time. Think it’s because I had a futon throughout my teens and early 20s and didn’t develop enough height/danger response while sleeping as a result.

That said, Offspring II falls out of bed all the time so maybe it’s genetic :thinking:

Haven’t fallen out of bed for ages, but did wake up last week with a big bump on my head which I assume was from banging it on the bedside table so a close call…

Never but twice in the last few months I have jumped out of bed whilst still asleep and having a nightmare that I’m covered in spiders.

I got stung by a wasp whilst I was out running the other month and had flashbacks to the 999 episode where a jogger nearly died from a bee sting

Used to hear the young boy on the top bunk in the flat above me fall out of bed with a thud on a regular basis, followed by wailing.

Fell out of bed a few months ago at the caravan when I misjudged that the mattress was actually half over the bed - lay down on the bed and ended up trapped on the crack between the bed and the caravan wall. That was fun!
