Kinda miss the ‘all day breakfast’ pasty that Cornish Bakehouse sometimes did.

Yes we’ve already agreed that Heinz are superior to Branston

Bacon sandwich can make an appearance though! Please, mods! You gotta believe me!

Very confused that multiple people have mentioned spinach.

For me it adds nothing in terms of texture or flavour, so i’m assuming it’s a tactical inclusion and there (boiled) simply to stem the flow of bean juice.

Leave out the avocado and add a dollop of sriracha and I’m all over this

this must be one of those “troll” posts I’ve been hearing about

It would’t make a steady damn if it wasn’t mushy.

Can be the only logical answer.

avo is in a pot on the table for self service
sriacha is available

Put it in the original poll cause it’s been a feature of many vegetarian and vegan breakfasts I’ve seen or had and I’m nothing if not an equal opportunities poller.

I would’t make a steady damn about this take m9

Spinach in a fry-up is great, provides a little contrast from the stodge. Can never be arsed to do it at home, but sometimes you see it as part of a caff’s veggie breakfast and that’s something that tempts me tbqh (like sometimes hash browns are veggie-only)

so many thoughts

you wake up at your mates house they announce that you’re going out for a fry up and they’re paying

so you have no idea where you’re going

which bit of a standard fry up are you most expecting to be a bit shit?

you know the answer already it’s the sausage

I’m a very very big fan in the wider sense/outside a fry up but unless you go somewhere fairly expensive, that component is pretty much ALWAYS shit

a while ago i went for a fry up in Brighton, there was a sign in the window saying Daily Telegraph’s top 10 breakfasts.

genuinely, one of the best 5 meals I’ve ever eaten it was that good - every component was 10/10

wasn’t there the last time i visited tho :frowning:

hash browns are amazing, but tattie scones are too. when i was in edinburgh recently my host made me an egg roll with both a hash brown and a tattie scone in - absolute game changer

i miss the days of youth when hangovers involved waking up, couple of lagers to take the edge off, nice big smoke to get the appetite going, out for a fry up, back home, have at least a pint of water then a nap… wake up feel absolutely fine
