What is “potato scone” please?
I’ll have some vegan black pudding instead of the mushrooms, please.
Have started making a breakfast sometimes of loads of mushrooms cooked with onion, sour cream and paprika on toast. It’s very nice.
is lorne ever any good or is it always just like a bland burger?
2x sausage (grilled) 2x bacon (grilled) 1x fried egg 2x wholemeal/granary toast with butter 1x grilled tomato beans Lots of pepper
Tell you what’s good on a fry up, leftover mash fried up with cheese and an egg mixed in.
My rule with eating is “save the thing you like most on the plate for the end so it’s the last thing you have”
Mushrooms are my one exception to this rule, I simply gobble them down immediately when they are on any meal.
The first few bites of a fry up are the best thing ever. After that it sort of goes downhill. I’m not gonna blame the fry up for that though - it’s my own fault for never knowing when to stop. 9/10
This is a good thing, also because mushrooms tend to go cold the quickest.
Runny eggs and potato farls are a winning combination. Any meal that incorporates these things is a belter.
My dad used to make Saturday night fry ups when we were kids, great dad-ing.
I miss my dad’s cooking

Hell yes in every meal ever
Pepper > salt YEAH I SAID IT
Bit of a fried halumi as a vegetarian bacon replacement isn’t bad.
No sauce on a fry up
Bean sauce
Don’t need sauce with 2 runny eggs
When I’m making a fry up I like to add a few little touches like a bit of hot sauce (shocking I know) to spice up the beans, paprika in the scrambled eggs, that kind of thing.
Hot bean and egg juice is not the same thing as sauce you fucking lunatics.
Genuinely can’t choose it is an ensemble piece
