can see why you’d include it for the thread, but really, laksa even more so than most SE asian “soups” is so different from what Europeans traditionally consider soup. In my experience most people in Malaysia don’t even actually drink/spoon up the soupy part, just eat the stuff floating in it. It’s more of an immersive sauce.
and its a traditional breakfast dish.

I used to hate soup but have since discovered it’s pretty good with the right soup.
However, I’m with @Epimer, if I never ate it again there would be no tears.

Nothing wrong with having soup for breakfast.

anyone can do pretty much whatever they want with pretty much any fluid they want at any time of day they like.

but soup is traditionally a lunch or a starter in Europe.
