I’m a fan of soup. I’d probably have given it a 7 at most because really soup is never complete if it’s not accompanied by some sort of thickly-buttered bread and lots of it.

Having soup for dinner (deviants) This week - leftover vegetables and chicken stock with nice bread and stilton. Soup was whizzed to a pulp - first night was more like stewp.

Would post a picture but might play into the anti soup factions spoonless hands - was bit too much cabbage thrown in and it has gone perhaps unappealingly green.

Damn, how did I miss this one?

Soup is king. Apart from Heinz which has 59 varieties that all taste roughly the same.

Just popped a Monster Munch (Flamin’ Hot) into Soup to test it as a crouton. Results to follow.

Verdict: Fine but won’t be repeating with the rest of the pack.

How soggy did it get?

Way too soggy. It’s why I won’t repeat. Fortunately, it’s very buoyant so the sogginess was only on the 15% or so that was submerged

Thank you for your service.

Thanks for the investigation. I hypothesise that a Snyders Pretzel bite would make an excellent crouton.

I’m not in a position to take a stand either way here

No, I agree. But your brave work in the field of alternative croutons has opened the door for others to pursue further experiments. I’m not in a position to drop the Snyder in just yet, but if I do, I’ll be standing on the shoulders of giants.

While I am no fan, for those that are I feel a Twiglet could serve quite well in this situation

Hula Hoops are also worthwhile, but NOT Skips.
