A real shame as I was about to create Shania Twain.

I raised this on Discourse boards because it seems to be a genuine bug since the last site upgrade.

Actually, looking through this, it might be because normalize_emails is set to true now.

It needs to be set to false so ShaniaTwain can join the boards.
/admin/site_settings/normalize_emails

I believe there’s a limit of fifty accounts per ISP address.

(We might have to flip it back off if we get a load of spam signups, but I don’t think it’s been too much of a problem for us)
