Finished my night shift and thankfully managed to double sleep yesterday thanks to a load of nice food and a bottle of Chinese wine.
Got loads of stuff to do but I might not. Hopefully meeting a friend for dinner tonight.

Watched a panda give birth to triplets. They just pop out the pandas tummy!! And then she gobbles them up in her mouth and it almost looks like she’s eaten them but no, they’re fine, she hasn’t eaten them.

Re: @japes’ comment about bowling shoes: I used to have a pair of shoes that everyone used to call bowling shoes. They were from Fly London, were quite expensive (by my standards) but were dead comfy.

Morning all. Had an utterly bizarre dream about having an ectopic pregnancy. Woke up at four as bemused as I’ve ever been.

Lazy day in work today, will do the bare minimum and hopefully I’ll get away with it.

Not getting off to a great start here, ripped the crotch of my jeans crossing my legs on the tube. Had to try and do a stealth peek and worst fears were confirmed. I guess this is the price you pay for having unfeasibly large testicles.

Woke up to satisfied ‘aaaah’ drinking noises coming from the kitchen. Went in to see what she was up to. Found her gulping back cold custard she foraged from the recycling basket.

Got to come up with my essay idea today and I still have no idea.

You’ve got a flat, felt porch that’s right up against the brick wall, so it could be that something’s failed along the flashing. Also it looks like you could do with some re-pointing around that area:

The only thing that’s bugging me is that the water appears to have come in all of a sudden - I would have thought that you’d start noticing minor damage before a massive leak.

Did the upstairs neighbours double-check that it was nothing to do with them?

Apparently one of you lot has been messing with the books in the Wellington library.
My girlfriend just called out that someone has marked up the book she’s reading to cross out ‘number’ in the phrase ‘PIN number’.

yeah – @marckee said that leaking coming from bricks wouldn’t happen suddenly :confused:

upstairs have sent us a video of them checking underneath floorboards. I expect the next thing we’ll do is call some leak specialists (?) who will hopefully be able to advise us further
