Watched that celebrity Bargain Hunt last night. Found it funny that despite cheating the Happy Mondays team only managed to make an 8 pound profit!
jesus, that’s depressing.
imagine that was your life.
RIP
We have an IT guy who works from home and everyone is always excitedly going on about him being just like Bez.
Met him at a conference and he was just a man from Manchester
I enjoyed that they decided to put a signed copy of the seminal classic EP Live in Barcelona up for sale. Of all the things from your back catalogue to pick.
takes off glasses.
So what you’re saying is… … he’s just like Bez!
Puts sunglasses on. Struts away.
Jarvis couldn’t even be bothered to show up to see Bez’s downfall. Reckon he was fucking fuming.
He danced for Black Grape too!
Was it somebody on here who said that they’d met Jarvis in the 90s and that he was VERY shy. Thought he seemed really awkward on Bargain Hunt when he was going around that antiques fair
He also has the WORST taste in paintings. £140 FFS!
He just wanted that painting for himself didn’t he?
Bez is like a court jester/village idiot - if there is a possibility of free drugs he will perform
Dunno but judging solely on Bargain Hunt: Happy Mondays - gobby pricks Pulp - shy, nice people
I met Jarvis at Primavera one year. Lovely dude. Really quiet and softly spoken.
Is that why he was on Bargain Hunt?
BBC Producer: Mr Bez would you like to be on Bargain Hunt competing against Pulp. Bez: Would I fook big man, bunch of art school wankers aint they? -----------------BBC Producer plays Bez ‘Sorted for E’s and Wizz’--------------------- Bez: Count me fookin in lad!
I saw him in Black Dog!
later that night he was also in Venue and I stood next to him at the bar. HE turned to me and went “do you know what my favourite thing about this place is?”, I said no and he responded with “nothing, it’s fucking shit!” and got 4 whiskeys (2 for him, 2 for his mate)
Absolutely not a twat, lovely guy (I reckon), works in charity shops when not touring, and just seems to be a fan of having a big sing.
He was great on Room 101. Really changed my opinion of him.
Sounds brilliant, exactly I would want from that “show”.
On a stag accidentally went to see his and Rowetta’s spin off act Monkey Bones, at Koko. You can imagine what that was like (totally great).
