I actually find it almost freaky how he just consistently makes awful records but which you can just instantly tell are going to be massive hits. They are just somehow laser guided on ticking every box of what is currently making a hit but manages to avoid sounding slightly off or contrived or just arrive 2 years after those trends have passed.
His songs feel so cynical but you just know the vast majority of people won’t hear that they’ll just hear something they want to sing along and wave their hands in the air to.
