Mentioned to the TV that I’d like to see The Big Sick as we never go to the cinema and it looked good. Instead I’ve somehow been roped into seeing Dunkirk on Sunday with his parents and Valerian on Tuesday with some mates who think it looks good and not really really terrible :sob:

I’ve had way too much coffee today. My heart seems to be fluttering I’m not sure that’s good.

Quite a stressful day at work as I had to rewrite a data integration task that a director at work wrote a few years ago and had been failing for ages.

He left no documentation, and it used to run for an hour before timing out. I hate reverse engineering things. Managed to rewrite it and now it runs in about 30 seconds.

Winning that free Superdrug shop cheered me up though.

We’re off to the pub for dinner as we can’t be arsed cooking.

Yeah, I was wanting to make sure it didn’t look like shite though, like a kinda cool retro looking one. Might be asking for a bit much there… the one I was looking at didn’t have any pictures of the innards. Might just buy a bunch and see if he likes any of them.
