Anyone remember the 80s 2nd hand jeans place ‘Flicks’? I guess this was when Levi’s were really expensive for there to be a market in 2nd hand stuff like that. It was really nice to go there. You’d find a pair of jeans with the shape of a tobacco tin worn into the back pocket or similar.

never had that problem myself man. plus, a button falling off is no real beef at all. just send them to @_Em and she’ll fix them for you for a small fee…

@bird I should clarify I can sew (did textile arts, didn’t I) and my point was more that you drop 80-120 notes on a pair of jeans, surely that isn’t something that should be required, at least not for quite a while. I’ve had 3 buttons drop off various things (Zara is WAY worse for this though tbf, or at least they used to be…) and also some things rip or at least fray way earlier than expected.
