never had that problem myself man. plus, a button falling off is no real beef at all. just send them to @_Em and she’ll fix them for you for a small fee…

I can’t and I won’t.

Well, ok. I can but I won’t. Learn to sew your own buttons and do your own hems, consumerist running dog lackeys.

Take the means of button production into the hands of the workers.

right on, sister!

have no idea what you’re blabbering on about

Basically everyone who can’t sew a button on should go for re-education somewhere in Kamchatka or Magadan. Siberia is too close. And too nice.

alright peter kay

@bird I should clarify I can sew (did textile arts, didn’t I) and my point was more that you drop 80-120 notes on a pair of jeans, surely that isn’t something that should be required, at least not for quite a while. I’ve had 3 buttons drop off various things (Zara is WAY worse for this though tbf, or at least they used to be…) and also some things rip or at least fray way earlier than expected.

It’s okay I got two new pairs in Standard cut and they’re good

Making a mockery of The View here

I’m 30x34, a size that seemingly just does not exist in most cultures…

I’m sort of 30 to 31 but actually online you might find 30x34 is obtainable from Gap? Otherwise it’s the belt club with me.

@Petagno

Women’s jeans. Or Muji. I’m serious here. I’m a 28x34.

And 28" waist is XL in Muji’s womens, and 33" is XL in their men’s. Which is just ridiculous (but useful if you happen to be those sizes).

I’ve bought womens jeans in the past, it’s just that they are somewhat lacking in the crotch cut unfortunately…

The thinnest of veils there…
