Different measures for different needs.

Distos are good for measuring room dims, but I wouldn’t mark out wood for cutting with one.

Anyone else rocking a Stanley Fatmax?

If not, are you even serious about measuring? I mean real measuring, whatever the conditions?

This looks like the Transformers from the film’s. The ones where they were trying to come across hyper masculine and militaristic. It’s like, you’re the Transformers man, embrace the whimsy.

Fitted a 2 post storage system from ikea and banged two massive drawers on it, one of which is already horribly full of most of the shit in this thread.

I have two but none of those zippy ones that you can retract and hook on things or have integrity to them.

One is my mum’s old knackered one from knitting, then I decided to treat myself to a minor upgrade, really really minor. No matter what I measure I never get it quite right somehow, love measuring things though, I feel like the ultimate feminist. That’s right, you thought you’d smash the patriarchy by talking truth to power? I thought I’d undermine it by acting like measuring a cabinet is a big deal.

I call this one a “measuring tape”. Totally different thing
