Just being able to pop in for a couple of pints on the way home, on a whim. That’s what I miss.

In between lockdown I bloody loved getting out to the museums.

Yeah really missing just sauntering about town, getting a coffee or pastry and having a look in the bookshops etc

My entire life pre lockdown was just pubs and gigs. Cans just aren’t the same.

I’d quite like to be able to go to work, get pissed off listening to people after about ten minutes and then take a half day:
Into town, browse record shops and buy something on a whim, go to the cinema and have an entire screen to myself, then into somewhere for nice food and a cold drink.

Was thinking about it this afternoon. Another couple of weeks and it’s a year since one of my mate’s weddings and that was the last time I saw any of them.
Another couple of weeks after that until I last went to the football, then I went to Crufts the day after… And I’ve basically not left the house since. Bleak.
I don’t mind a bath can with a bit of the auld Sigur Ros on the stereo and maybe a wax melt, and I know the debate’s been had many a time, but the shower is no place for a can. Not unless you want soapy residue in your Stella.

Yep.
Aye its a bit of a meme at this point. It’s basically transformed into shower cans are for metal bands at this point.
We also discussed the length of time you’d need to be in the shower to down cans.
The last person I went out to a gig with was @Lo-Pan. Maybe I’ll get to go to a gig with him again when this all ends.
