Another wonderful forgotten band from the 90s who never got their due. I’m just putting it out there that both their albums are being re-released on Vinyl if anyone is interested. Recommended for anyone who is a fan of IDLES as they may be their most obvious influence.
There was that time they appeared on Saturday morning kids’ TV.
First time I heard of them was on The Word. See Mark Lamarr attack some poor woman before the music starts
Saw them live once supported by a just breaking Elastica - literally 90% of the audience left after Elastica (I stayed as my mate was a HUGE Compulsion fan)…
Comforter was a massive album for me when I was 17-18. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll be grabbing a vinyl copy as soon as I can.

Great band. Unfairly lumped in with the NME’s “new wave of new wave” and then stupidly not invited to the Britpop party - probably cos they weren’t “sassy” enough.
