people using knives are doing it wrong also, especially if the cheese is stringy/stretchy.
This is one of those hive mind things where you all know I’m right but you’re too scared to say it
the reason scissors are good at cutting pizza is the same reason a slice is good (downward force), but with a slice you don’t lose as much time.

there are qualities that make scissors good - downward force
there are qualities that make a knife good - being able to make the cut without pausing
the slice takes each of these qualities and pairs them into one method.
