Very on board with this. You could have worm swapping ceremonies for…some reason.

Maybe when a child grows it’s final adult tooth there is a worm induction ceremony which is sort of like a christening but a lot more worm orientated

could also be worms for other body parts if needed

Hmm, not sure about this one Shrewbs, I think I’d find that a bit horrifying maybe?

it’s not for everyone that’s for sure
which animal would you like in your mouth?

Well, I think a fun thing to do is to pop a baby’s foot in your mouth and then spit it out again whilst blowing a raspberry (babies seem to agree). I’m just wondering if there would be some way of attaching little brushes to a babies foot and killing two birds with one stone here because, quite frankly, I don’t really like the idea of any kind of creatures roaming around in my mouth all that much.

I’d probably prepare some kind of facility so it doesn’t need to leave the premises

I bought one once in a pub toilet, when I sat back down my pal said he knew I would buy one of them, dont know what that says about me

I’d like a little dentist racoon that brushes my teeth

Now that we live longer, I think it’s ridiculous that we don’t grow another set of teeth.

We have our baby teeth, then our adult teeth, which is fine when you’re lucky to live to 30. What I’m proposing is a third cycle called ‘mature teeth’ or ‘long teeth’. The adult ones drop out when you’re 35 and you get a nice new set. Maybe a different colour?

A sci-fi series I read had little nanobots you used to brush your teeth just by putting them in your mouth and then, I assume because it was not explicitly stated, spit them put when they’ve done their job. What do you think of this option?

I can vibe with that, thanks for raising it

What about a tiny specially bred Remora fish?

Maybe just a Plecostomus, they’re already pretty small and they’re fresh water fish so they wouldn’t notice much difference once you got them away from the garden centre.
