I’ve not felt this belittled since primary school. Kudos, friend.

It’s nothing personal - I’m just trying to get into the ‘x has done x there thread’. Never been in and this is my best chance.

A well deserved entry IMO once Theo has rubber-stamped it.

Sometimes I change my mind about where I’m going, and stop-in halfway to see a mate or grab a pint. This system is brilliant! If the pub is at 9 and I’ve missed it, I can just catch the 18 and get off halfway round. Brilliant!

What do you mean ‘if’?

hmm. needs more bus lanes

Is that made out of Cadbury’s chocolate fingers?

Sure, if you like. Great idea for the Idea thread!

“I’ll meet you at 2 inches past 12”

I knew it anyway.

I had to learn the principles of it for a job I applied for (and didn’t get).

It brings back bad memories actually, that I’d tried to suppress.

F!#@$! The planet’s dying, crisps!

That’s no excuse for a poorly designed transport infrastructure.

All food should be priced at a fixed rate per calorie. Let’s say 1p per calorie. Calorific foods become prohibitively expensive so people stay in better shape.

There are no problems with this idea.

Say, right, you buy a box of eggs which are like 80 calories per egg, right? Do you charge based on the fact an egg itself is quite low calorie, or like you would with a chocolate bar and assume the buyer is gonna eat all the eggs in one go?

So if an egg was 80 calories, and the box had six eggs, then the box would cost £4.80.

A bar of Dairy Milk is 530 calories apparently. £5.30

In hindsight, 1p per calorie might be a bit expensive.

No I’m sorry. This seems to punish consumers and enjoyers of eggs. I’m out.

I like it. I would buy all of the Celery
