I don’t watch TV or read or listen to music or have a wife that loves me or a security team that can stop obvious milkshake throwers

Want to open a Quiet Bar, where people can just come in and read, study or have a quick nap. Strictly no chat, no phones, no music, just a place for peace and quiet, reflection and a nice pint.

Hip / non naff sex shop is such a good idea that someone must be doing it already? Maybe not

Ahh I thought hip/ nerd was interchangable here

What would a nerd shop be like compared to a hip one?

There’s a crumpet café in Hove called The Crumpetty Tree. Saw minor celeb Kevin Bishop tucking in there once.

Was close to starting a mobile pulpería right after uni. Did a business plan and that and even started working on the trailer, but we maybe rightly concluded London wasn’t ready for fresh boiled Galician style octopus.

In about 99/2000 a mate and I were seriously thinking of starting a LAN café/bar in London for people to come and play Doom, Half-Life etc. Also have PlayStations. Basically capitalise on the “computer games are for 20-somethings” concept PlayStation had made its mark with.

We never quite worked out the logistics and then “The Killing Fields” or something opened on Whitfield St and shortly after that it became a redundant concept.

It’s a big priority for mcDs to get this sorted. The issue is the oil change for lunch food cooking though

Just do it an hour later, innit?

It’s not like they stop serving for an hour while they do it.

Opticians where you can buy beer too.

Call it Beer Goggles.

I’ll have 10% of your profits, thanks.

Had an idea in the back of my head for a few years about starting a merchandise kind of thing, could be ok I guess but so far I’ve done zero things to make it any closer to reality.

I’m currently trying to start up a new festival if that counts and it’s fucking hard
