as did all prepared food and livestock etc what would you initially hunt (ain’t too much growing at the moment, or maybe there is)?
I think I would get fishing (but would be easier in the warmer months) but would start off my going after the duck, goose and swan population.
Yeah all the food is gone, pal and you’ve just wasted some valuable calories getting to Tesco you duffus!

Reckon I’d take my chances with the berries and mushrooms. Are all the books gone as well?

This is odd. I was thinking about everyone disappearing just a few hours ago!
No the books are there. Are there many shrooms in January?
You don’t even need to read the whole OP, just the title.

Would skip the cheese string aisle and load up on the loose fruit & veg, personally.

No idea - that’s why I’m off down the library!
Picking those apples is preparing them!

Actually I know for a fact there’s loads of mushroom farms (factories?) quite near here that supply for lidl and places. Drive past the potato fields on the way there too.
Someone’s clearly not taking the binning off of Tezbot’s fresh fish counter very well.
