no idea

genuinely, no idea

i got a several grand as a redundancy payment a bit over a year ago, then spent a fair chunk of it on living costs when i took 3 months off work to do a music project

i don’t regret doing it at all but don’t feel the need to do it again

now that i have a job i like, that won’t happen

so i guess i’d put it in the bank and then sit back and freak out as it made the economy go mad for a bit

then again, it says in the article that you have to tell them what you’re doing with it so i guess i couldn’t do that… i could easily spunk £10k on music equipment, but i wouldn’t end up using all of it so it would be a waste

Help with the mortgage and a nice holiday.

The guy in that advert is one of my good friends now. I like bringing it up a lot.

Safe to say he does not like me bringing it up a lot.

Boring answer, probably put in into my mortgage / buying a better house.

Or add it on to the cash for my rtw trip.

I got so excited about RTW trip before i realised it meant Round The World and not Royal Tunbridge Wells (which is the code we use for this branch at work)

Might go to a few shades lighter but yeah.

What would 10k get me in the Wells?

good shout

Buy an awesome van and/or have a lavish holiday.

I’d give half of it back to them because I owe them income tax. :frowning:

Haha

"I’m actually escaping for a bit in a couple of weeks time- 5 weeks in India to check out the food, dance and theatre, all things that I’m a little obsessed with! The good thing is that I can bring back a rejuvenated self and plenty of ideas for the next project.

Next on the cards for Josh’s Band isn’t quite a musical venture, although it will play a part. I’m organising a complete arts festival that will take place in Hillingdon (London). The theme of the festival will keep the themes that were so popular in Josh’s Band, and so involvement from whoever wants to be involved will be key!"

finally @stupidsexyflanders can answer @1101010’s question
