Well sort of both. He is a real guy in the sense that he did go round the country forming this band, but they hired him to do it (I guess they’d figured out the campaign already and were just looking for someone to front it). He actually is now a drama teacher. They plucked him off a train station platform I think (or something similar) and offered him a shitload of cash (and a free phone obviously) to mess around for a while.
