That’s really lovely, Joke. Think I’m gonna join you.

Same person was 8 mins late for a call on Wednesday, during which time I decided to go to the toilet and obviously that was when he called

Suspicious.

Hello!! Happy Friday everyone

Boring question here, but I would appreciate someone’s past experience with this.

Has anyone had a boiler replaced recently and If so, how much was it?

I have about two years ago and I can’t really remember! Will have been cash in hand so can’t look it up but was probably £1,500-£2,000 for a decent Worcester Bosch one

yes! and depends how good a boiler you want. also depends on the size of your home and number of bathrooms/radiators etc.

mine was £1469.

Thanks guys

So we got a quote for replacing ours at 2800  which my dad tells me is steep. So I just wanted to check other peoples experiences. Hmmm. Soooo can’t be arsed shopping around.

I would say that a combi for a 3 bed or below with one bathroom should be sub 2k

mine was probably March this year so yeah, thats a bit steep from my limited experience

Ello friday night

Last December, and it was far too much money (can’t remember exactly but somewhere between 2.5k and 3k).. That was for a family house, not a flat or whatever.

The oven appears to be about to pack it in, as well. Preliminary investigation of that one indicates that they don’t get made in the same width as our current (ancient) one anymore, so odds on we’ll have to do some remodelling of the kitchen units to either fit a bigger one in, or not have a stupid gap with a smaller one. At least there’s no recession coming so I don’t have to worry about the big chunk out of my savings, eh?
