“hmm the queue’s too big here, guess i’ll go to the other place with the fucking massive queue”

Give it five years and there’s be a mardy version in Cambridge. Called Papa Ass or something.

There wasn’t much of a queue today, apparently.

It’ll be queued out the fucking door seven days a week, too.

Just been to the Great Eastern St one, minimal queue, fun drinks machine, top job.
Veggie patty, all the veg - especially jalepeno, bit of mayo.

half tempted to get the bus to one of them just for something to do

It was a fun touchscreen, I didn’t go for any of the full fat options though because I’m a big baby.

pls

just a little for the record post coming up:

for the record, we walked past the 'way earlier, but on seeing the queue and already having a coupe of Gregg’s pasties on us, we declined the offer, instead hauling arse over to Macdo to try out that el mexicany chicken what’s it’s chops thing.

would almost certainly have gone for that Italian one on that Italian bread with hot stuff, olives salad and whatnot.

I went to the nearest one and there were people queing down the road, not even kidding, best part of fifty people, so fucked it off and went to the second nearest one, pretty much as bad, so got a lovely ham and egg roll from Greggs with a massive bottle of OJ for £3 instead. No way a man of my means is waitkng 45 minutes to save £2. So to sum up, the people who went out of their way for this actually pretty shit offer, or queued, or even just had a shitter sarnie than me are the New Babies. IT WAS ME, AUSTIN. IT WAS ME ALLLLLL ALLLLLLONG!

Joking aside, have you seen ‘I, Daniel Blake’?

Honest question.

I haven’t judged anybody else for doing so. You did.

Mate people can watch whatever films they like for all I care.

Also had a Leather Lane subway (and can confirm the queues were mayhem). Went for Italian BMT, cheese and 'erb, green peppers, red onion, jalepenos, sweetcorn and olives. Sweet onion sauce. Not bad at all.

Daddy Donkey’s burritos are excellent, by the way.

they don’t offer raw egg as a topping unfortunately.

I’ve never had a bad burrito y’know. They must must have the lowest risk value of all fast food, surely. There also doesn’t seem to be any difference in quality between chain and traditional places. You can go to Changos or Bar Burrito and have a really fucking decent burrito. The babies may disagree.

Say what you want about babies I didn’t see any in Subway or I, Daniel Blake

not falling for this one, sorry pal

Yeah, agreed. Made a new year’s resolution to bring in lunch 4 out of 5 days a week and have managed to keep with it. Until subway today I’ve had a burrito on every “day-off” so far. Think Benito’s Hat is my favourite of the chains, though Barburrito is the only one with a loyalty card as far as I’m aware.
