We’ve just stopped off at The Byre Inn for a pint after climbing Ben A’an.

The landlord was smoking a joint out front when we got there - speakers in the garden blasting out a mix of dub, reggae and drum and bass remixes of Jungle Book songs.

I had to order drinks at the bar. When I walked in he said I could take my mask off ‘because in here we party like it’s 2019’.

Apart from the mask stuff - a really cool place, thanks for the recommendation.

Pot Still for nice traditional pub.

Hmm for margaritas not sure, mexican food place called Mezcal does frozen ones so assume do normal ones too. Probably missing somewhere obvious here.

The Gate for cocktails in general bit east of the centre, but can have at look Barras

Other nice places to drink Stereo, 13th Note, Mono, Saramago at CCA.

Glasgow Beer Works if you want to sit outside as its not bad weather

Have never been to Gin71, not a typical DiS haunt, but they do cocktails and I’d probably give it a go if my sister were in town. Nicely tucked away in a tidy court down a lane, and in the merchant city, so plenty of alternatives around if it’s not quite what you’re after.
