Imagine a colour

Can be any colour you like doesn’t matter, I just want you to imagine it and focus in on it for a few seconds until it’s all you can see in your mind’s eye.

Was it green?

Urple prose tries to be beautiful, but ends up being unavoidably ugly and often pretentious. Urple prose is most commonly written by authors who try to create descriptive prose but go overboard with adjectives, similes, and metaphors. The result is over-descriptive writing that does not flow well.

alright derren brown

if you try to think of nothing or clear your mind of thoughts do you get a little voice or impression from yourself thinking/saying “well done you’re not thinking anything, wow that’s really cool!..DAMN thinking again” etc?

Would be good to have a detailed thread where people talk about the ways they think imo. I always find it fascinating that you can interact with people in very similar ways but their brains work very differently.

The colour I was thinking of was actually yellow. But I think that might be IRONICALLY because the R.E.M. album Green (which has a yellow cover) was the last thing I looked at before I shut my eyes to visualise a colour.

It wasn’t sorry, it was a sort of dark red that’s the colour of my living room rug.
