Ah using the old cross-eyed trick to viewing them rather than the parallel eye. I went nuts for them back in the day, had 5 or 6 magic eye books, a poster and even a DVD with animated ones on it.

Go cross eyed and then focus on it as if you’re trying to make the image appear sharper. You should then see it, although it will be concave instead of convex.
