Let’s say, hypothetically, and I can’t stress this enough, I’m asking for a friend here, you had a blocked nose for nearly 2 weeks or so would you have a bang on this:

  • Sounds grim, my nose is a temple (this is the no option)
  • I’ve chucked worse stuff up there (this is the yes option)
  • I hope your friend gets better soon, this sounds really horrible, he (or she) sounds like a lovely person at a very loose end and I quite fancy them a bit after hearing about their dilemna

Hang on is this from the official nhs website? If so then I’d probably go for it. If not id be concerned about what it would do to the lining of my nose (which is pretty important for stopping infections)

I’ve got a neti pot which is pretty much the same as this but pouring it through the nose feels safer than sniffing it. Also I just add salt, not sure I want baking soda up there.

Yes not my words laefs, the words of the NHS. I think I’ll give it a go when I get in tonight rather than having a nice burrito (that I wouldn’t be able to taste) and some nice beers (that I wouldn’t be able to taste) with some nice DiSsers (that I wouldn’t be able to taste).

I cannot believe so many people have not owned a snorkel!
