OK now you do some…

serious as in extremely meaningful to me and I wanted them to pan out in something long term, 2

serious as in actually having a single solitary chance of ever turning into something long term, 0

Countries and DiSers are too hard to count

Hmmm.

Umpire rules: your answer is 2.

Duly noted, thank you

Reckon both guys would have an aneurism if they knew the relationships were being considered serious

Does being made redundant count as being sacked?

Umpire rules:

YES

I have been fired about 10 times but i can explain :sob:
Shop - more of a you cant fire me cause i quit type situation in a very toxic environment
Temp assingment - made a complaint about a superior’s inappropriate comment about looking up my skirt while i climbed a ladder, he denied it and i was fired. Was very naive at the time and didnt challenge it and just left
Temp assignment- took the wrong antihistamine and fell asleep at work :sob: they told me not to come back in the morning
School - a colleague lied about me to this day i dont know why she said i didnt do the school registers when i always do. Was blindsided by this tbh, but it was an unpleasant working environment that i ethically objected to (a PRU where children are lumped together without any consideration for their wildly different needs. Teachers got punched, spat on, literally pissed on etc)
School - the temp agency gave me the job despite the fact i was honest about my lack of SEN experience- the school realised and let me go and said the agency was wrong to send me.
Temp assignment- i was struggling with my mh and had panic attacks and would hide in the toilets or take sick days when i couldn’t cope, they let me go
Office job - same thing
Office admin - same thing
School temp - they let me go because they were hiring permanent staff and didn’t even tell me so i could apply

Most of the time i explained the last job was temporary so it ended, or i was given a good reference anyway when i explained about my anxiety, so it was always easy to get a good reference. My cv is shambolic

Does turning up to a security job and the site being taken over by a different firm and 4 scouse lads saying, “you don’t work here now lad, we’d suggest you fuck right off” count as getting sacked?

Do pets count if you were a kid and technically they were your parents pets?
I’ve never had a pet on my own

Yeah, gerbils have all technically been my parents’ but I’m the reason they got them in the first place so I think it counts

4 cats it is, the dog was around before me so i’m not claiming that one

Umpire rules:

YES

sounds like a more extreme version of @barleysugar’s story.

also, @barleysugar was one of the scouse lads.

Was a great job, used to get paid a fortune cash in hand (all crumpled fivers and tenners clearly from the streets) to do nothing, used to sometimes just do an hour at the start then go out and then make sure i was back before anyone got on site in the morning

re. music festivals: Are we counting repeat visits to the same festivals? Or are we only counting unique festivals?

Repeat visits are fine, yep!

Honest answer to basically all of these is dunno. I like pressing buttons though.
