I’ll do this too, but our crappy system sometimes decides to unilaterally assign every file in a folder the current date as modified date.

2019Q4 rather than just Q4 defends against the inevitable tool who will accidentally move the file somewhere else. But obviously this should be standardised and not just some fucking free for all. This isn’t Russia.

I have never worked anywhere that doesn’t have a financial year that starts on 1st Jan.
